Priced by the machines under management, and nothing else
Every plan has every capability. Sites, databases and deployments are unlimited, and people are not counted on any paid plan. A machine is any Linux host running the agent — twelve sites on one box is still one machine.
The plans differ in limits, not in capability
Every plan provisions machines the same way and manages the same objects. What changes is how many machines, whether anybody besides you can join, and how fast support answers.

Studio, free, for students, open source and non-profits
For a year at a time, renewed for as long as you still qualify. Applied for from inside the panel, under Billing; a person reads every application that the checks cannot settle.
Confirm your school address and your own organization is on Studio. Anybody who joins it has to be a student too.
For a project under an OSI-approved licence. People join from the project's own domains, or from addresses we add by name.
For a registered non-profit or charity. People join from the organization's own domains, or from addresses we add by name.
Before you pick a plan
Any Linux host running the agent. Twelve sites, three databases and six workers on one box is one machine.
Your sites keep serving. The agent polls outward and nothing on the machine waits on the control plane to run nginx, cron or a queue worker. You lose the panel, not the service.
Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04, root or passwordless sudo to run the install command once, and outbound 443. Nothing inbound is opened for the agent.
The next machine is refused before it is connected, never after: no half-provisioned box, and nothing already connected changes. The panel says so on the form, before you fill it in.
From Billing in the panel, by card through Stripe, in euros. Prices exclude VAT. Customers in Belgium pay 21% Belgian VAT; businesses elsewhere in the EU give their VAT number and pay none; consumers in other EU countries pay their own country's rate; customers outside the EU pay no Belgian VAT.
From Billing too. Moving up is prorated to the day and takes effect at once; moving down waits for the end of what you paid for. A plan with less room than the machines you run is refused before you pay for it.
Nothing on your machines changes and nothing stops serving. If you hold more than the plan you fall back to covers, the panel lets you look and take things away, and deploys, certificates and backups carry on, until it fits again.
One machine, free, for as long as you like
No card and no end date. Connect a spare box and watch it provision; everything it builds carries into whichever plan you move to.
